For my last celebration of 2014, I am sharing my easy, DIY ideas for a New Year's Eve party on a budget. Some items I pulled out of my stash from last year, I upcycled a few items and some I bought new at the Dollar Tree.
We have been celebrating the new year as a family for the last few years therefore my goal was to make it family friendly and still have that NYE flair.
The champagne bottle in the back was an easy upcycle. Using an old wine bottle, some gold spray paint and some vinyl lettering cut from my Silhouette, I transformed it as a centerpiece for our bar area. My inspiration for the vinyl lettering was the coasters that I purchased from The Flair Exchange.
An easy DIY for this party are the white cups with the vinyl gold lettering. If you don't have access to a vinyl cutter, stickers or a sharpie will work fine also.
The champagne flutes are plastic from the dollar store and are easy clean up item.
Pop Pop Fizz Champagne Bar
This is for the adults and the children. Putting out some seltzer water with fruit mixers is perfect for the children.
These goodie bags were in the wedding section of the dollar store and I put some candy and blowers inside. I glammed them up with party printables from Simple Designs by Jennifer.
You might recognize the Pop Fizz Clink coasters from The Flair Exchange too.
Another easy DIY project was the clock. I made with a plastic plate and some vinyl.
These 2015 glasses will be perfect for the family photobooth and they were a download from the Silhouette store.

If you are an owner of a Silhouette Machine or any device that cuts vinyl, you will totally understand my obsession with putting cute vinyl on everything...
About a year ago I gave my kitchen a small make over with new curtains and a few new color touches. One of them was my mixer. (sorry, no pic to show you cause I was so excited to change it up for Christmas, I tore off the old vinyl before I snapped one..)
Here is my new Christmas Mixer!
I love it and it adds the right pop of color on my counter too!
Using the Glossy Vinyl from the Silhouette store - the colors are Dark Red and brown.
Don't you think cookies will taste even better mixed in this beauty now?
Enjoy your holiday season!

I can't believe October starts next week already! Preparing our home and hearts for a fun fall time!
Today I am giving you a peek at a cute Halloween Party shoot I did using the Owl-O-Ween printables from D&P Celebrations. (available in their shop)
Using a blank canvas, I cut this cutie to fit and used some Washi Tape to accent the corners.
My girls wanted to dress up in their costumes for this Halloween to help me showcase the table.
You can see more from this party with plenty of details over at the D&P Celebrations Blog!

With the summer coming to a close and the cooler weather coming our way in New York, outdoor movie nights are our family Friday night mainstay. We pop a movie in our outdoor projector, blow up our screen and break out the snacks.
This fun family party and more details can be found in the Fall issue of Polka Dot Balloon Magazine.
Here is some inspiration for your next Family Fun Movie Night.
